Our AGM is scheduled for Monday, November 18, at 7pm in the multi-purpose room at Vanier. Please plan to arrive early (doors open at 6:45pm) to sign in (mandatory). You are a "member" if you had an athlete playing in the 2024 club season, or are a 2024 coach.

The AGM is mainly an information session and at the end we ask you to fill out the "interest" sheets for your player(s) (by birth year). These sheets allow guys to judge how many try-out sessions are required, how many coaches we need, etc for the 2025 season.

The AGM is also when board members are voted in. Although we have some members willing to stay on, we are specifically looking for a new Treasurer (accounting or bookkeeping experience required), an incoming President and a Secretary. The current Treasurer and President will be available to train this year. To ensure a proper voting process it is necessary to get nominations ahead of the AGM, so ballots can be created. Our constitution allows up to 3 board members to be community members. If you (or someone you know) is interested in being on the board, please forward nominations to Linneast@gmail.com by November 7th. You will need to indicate whether you are nominating yourself (or someone else) as a CVVC member, or as a community member. Please also include a short biography to include in our "Slate of Candidates" that will go out to all members prior to the AGM.

Please note, there will be a brief meeting with the new board, immediately following the AGM.
